During October and November 2024, the Communal Institution of Extracurricular Education «Odesa City Center for Choreographic Arts» hosted a charity art project titled «Open Your Hands for Good» and a nationwide seminar-practicum on «Styling Ukrainian Folk Dance and Methodological Approaches to Teaching Modern Dance Styles in Choreographic Groups».
The event was organized in partnership with the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine and the Odesa Regional Organization of the National Choreographic Union of Ukraine.
The funds raised from ticket sales for the concert «Open Your Hands for Good» were allocated to purchase essential equipment and materials for servicemen undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in medical facilities in Odesa.
The seminar program featured master classes from leading experts in choreography, demonstration lessons, and discussions on current issues related to teaching modern dance styles in children's choreographic groups.
All participants received certificates of professional development upon completion of the seminar.
