Student governance leaders from secondary educational institutions in the Odessa community held the inaugural meeting of the high school parliament for the 2024/2025 academic year.

During the sessions, students reviewed the activities of the parliament for the 2023/2024 year. The most active participants were awarded certificates from the Odessa City Council's Department of Education and Science.

Attending the meeting were alumni and former parliament members who came to support the new candidates and share their experiences.

As a result of this year's voting, Alina Dildina (Kyiv District), Elizabeth Buzinovska (Primorsky District), Milena Mala (Khadyzhibey District), and Darya Boyarska (Peresyp District) were elected to the presidium of the high school parliament for the 2024/2025 year.

District parliament leaders will be included in the Youth Council under the Odessa City Mayor and will represent the interests of the city's youth in the city council, participating in shaping the youth policy.

During the meeting, projects for the 2024/2025 academic year were approved. The parliament's focus areas include protecting socially vulnerable groups, promoting a healthy lifestyle, ecological initiatives, cultural and charitable events, volunteering, and much more.
