As part of a collaborative project between the National Police of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, supported by UNICEF, students from 4th and 5th grades of Odesa Lyceum No. 71 participated in a mobile safety class.
The main focus of the event was to educate children on fire and mine safety. During the meeting, representatives from the State Emergency Service explained the importance of following safety rules in dangerous situations.
Students learned how to prevent fires and what actions to take in case of a fire outbreak, recognized potentially dangerous objects, and understood the steps to follow when encountering suspicious or explosive items.
The event was conducted in an engaging interactive format, where students not only listened to experts but also participated in practical exercises, examined visual examples, and asked questions.
Such educational initiatives help instill a culture of safety in children and equip them with the skills to respond appropriately in critical situations.
