In Ukraine, a new initiative is underway to enhance children's safety, spearheaded by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police, and the State Emergency Service.
The project, titled «Mobile Safety Class,» involves using specially equipped vehicles to teach children fundamental safety principles.
Recently, one of these vehicles was parked outside Odessa Lyceum No. 100. During this event, students from grades 4 and 5 received crucial information from emergency service representatives.
Children were informed about the importance of adhering to safety rules in various situations, including mine and fire safety, road traffic regulations, and personal safety at home.
These mobile safety classes help instill a sense of responsibility in children regarding their own safety and that of others. Instructors from the SES and the National Police employ interactive and playful formats for teaching.
This initiative is supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Ukraine.
