Representatives from Odesa's healthcare institutions participated in a regional forum titled «Innovations in Rehabilitation Services under Medical Guarantees», organized by the National Health Service of Ukraine for medical facility leaders from Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions.
The forum presented the findings of a scheduled monitoring of medical facilities concerning the compliance with contract terms for the program «Rehabilitation Assistance for Adults and Children in Inpatient Settings».
Participants discussed the results of the monitoring and potential solutions to key issues to enhance the quality of inpatient rehabilitation services.
New tools in the electronic health system relevant to the rehabilitation process were also introduced, aimed at making electronic document flow more convenient.
In Odesa, under the state medical guarantees program, inpatient rehabilitation services for adults are provided by hospitals No. 1, No. 8, No. 10, and No. 11. The children's city clinical hospital No. 3 offers rehabilitation services for children. These hospitals are equipped with modern facilities, allowing a wide range of rehabilitation procedures.
Additionally, renovation works are being carried out to expand the rehabilitation capabilities of clinical hospital No. 1 and establish a robust rehabilitation center at city hospital No. 5.
