Ukrainian athlete Mykhailo Kokhan achieved victory at the club championship in France for hammer throw, which took place on Sunday, May 18, in Franconville.
Sixteen athletes participated in the event. Kokhan clinched first place with a throw of 72.89 m. His best result this season is 80.73 meters, recorded at the Antalya Cup in Turkey at the end of April.
On the upcoming Saturday, May 24, Kokhan is set to compete in the Continental Gold Tour Memorial Boris Khanzekovich in Zagreb (Croatia). Additionally, 30-year-old Ukrainian runner Viktoriya Tkachuk will also participate in the competitions.
It is worth noting that 24-year-old Kokhan is a bronze medalist in hammer throw at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
