CDTO Campus has entered into a memorandum with the Global Government Technology Centre (Berlin). This partnership aims to foster collaboration in digital technology and joint initiatives.

The educational programs of CDTO Campus will form a crucial part of the training for Germany's digital leaders. GovTech Campus Deutschland, alongside TUM Think Tank, will incorporate Ukrainian experiences into its educational framework for training German digitalization specialists.

The memorandum, signed by Halyna Pustova, Director of CDTO Campus, Viktor Lyakh, President of the Eastern Europe Foundation, and Manuel Kilian, Executive Director of GGTC Berlin, outlines close cooperation in digital security and the protection of government services. Ukraine will share unique cyber defense solutions, including the experience of migrating government services to the cloud, implementing digital documents, and resilience mechanisms against cyberattacks.

Valeria Ionan, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration, also attended the event.

It is worth noting that CDTO Campus is a national educational project aimed at training Chief Digital Transformation Officers (CDTOs), a new type of civil servant and public sector specialist responsible for implementing innovative projects in government management and overall national digitalization.

In 2024, CDTO Campus will train 440 digital transformation leaders and launch 12 programs, some of which are developed in collaboration with leading companies such as Microsoft, Cisco, Apolitical, and other international partners.

CDTO Campus is implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation, funded by the Visa Foundation, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), and supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in collaboration with Digitality GovTech Centre of Excellence, under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
