The World Table Hockey Championship held in Umeå, Sweden, saw the Ukrainian team achieve remarkable success with 5 medals of varying degrees. The only gold was claimed by Anna Ivantsova.

The silver medals were won by the women's team (Anna Ivantsova, Polina Kvasnikova, Karina Pirumshoyeva) as well as the junior boys (Artem Matantsev, Artem Tsiluyko, Oleksandr Pylypenko, Mykhailo Razkevych).
The bronze medal in the men's category was secured by Yevheniy Matantsev, while Artem Matantsev achieved the same in the junior category.
It is noteworthy that Yevheniy became the world champion in 2023 and was the European champion last year.
This was the first time in thirty years that Umeå hosted the world championship. The World Championship occurs every two years.
