The recent boxing championship in Khmelnytskyi was a key event for young athletes, acting as a qualifier for the European championships for those born in 2011-2012.
A total of 350 athletes from across Ukraine participated in the competition.
Alexander Shchupak, a student from Sports School No. 8 in Odesa, competed in four bouts, winning three of them and earning a second-place finish.
This achievement secures Alexander's spot in the national youth team of Ukraine.
His coaches, Volodymyr Osypchuk and Ihor Hordiienko, prepared him for this event.
