Ukrainian hockey players achieved a significant victory at the international three-nations tournament held in Austria. This event served as a crucial preparation stage for the World Championship in ice hockey for U18 in Division 1A.

Among the national team was Ilya Bobrov, a product of the Odesa youth sports school «Jinistra», who serves as the main goalkeeper for the U18 team.

The opponents faced by Ukraine included Denmark and the host team, Austria.

In the opening match, Ukraine triumphed over Denmark with a score of 3:0.

Goalkeeper Ilya Bobrov made an impressive performance, saving 25 shots and securing a shutout.

In the subsequent match, the Ukrainians convincingly defeated the Austrian team with a score of 7:1, once again showcasing the goalkeeper's skills.

Ilya Bobrov and his coach Ruslan Korop were awarded Honorary Certificates at the «Sports Capital» ceremony in 2025 for their outstanding achievements in sports.
