Throughout the week, Berlin, Germany hosted the UNESCO conference on school management, Project Schools - 2024.
Odessa was represented at the conference by students and teachers from the "Maryinsky" Lyceum.
As part of a Ukrainian-German project for the recreation of children and teachers, Odessa lyceum students visited educational institutions in Berlin, exchanged experiences with peers from other countries, and learned about the specifics of the German education system.
Participants also had the opportunity to explore the history, culture, and architecture of the German capital, visiting places such as the East Side Gallery - a world-famous fragment of the Berlin Wall turned into an outdoor exhibition, the Brandenburg Gate - a symbol of unity and peace, Checkpoint Charlie - a reminder of divided Berlin and the Cold War, and the New Museum featuring art from various eras.
