YouTube has launched a new feature that showcases short animations after users click the "like" button on certain videos. This was announced as part of an update released in October, aimed at enhancing user interaction with content, according to The Verge.
Currently, there are 20 animations available that vary depending on the video's theme. For instance, in motorsport videos, the button transforms into a smoky tire, while in educational clips, it becomes a glowing light bulb. There are also options for sports, travel videos, and animal content.
Designer Andreas Storm, who compiled all the effects into two short clips on platform X, noted that YouTube has yet to add animations for children's videos.
Additionally, YouTube is rolling out the Super Resolution feature on TVs, which will enhance video quality using artificial intelligence.
