Today, May 21, 2025, an online meeting was held in Odesa, chaired by Natalia Kozlovska, the Deputy Minister for Community Development, Territories, and Infrastructure of Ukraine.
Participants included representatives of the city council, such as the first deputy mayor Oleksandr Filatov, deputy mayor Pavlo Vuhelman, advisor on accessibility issues Oleksiy Morozov, as well as heads of executive bodies and relevant departments.
During the meeting, the discussion focused on the implementation of the «Barrier-Free Movement» project and the status of works on the inclusive tram route «North-South».
Attention was drawn to the technical aspects of route implementation, infrastructure adaptation for people with disabilities, veterans, and other mobility-impaired population groups.
Additionally, the issue of inter-agency coordination was raised. The «Barrier-Free Movement» project is part of the national accessibility strategy, in which Odesa is actively involved.
