The greenkeepers of the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» have initiated the planting of summer flowers in Istanbul Park. This year, patterns made up of over 30 thousand begonias will beautify an area of 500 square meters.
At the start of the season, the staff of «Miskzelentrest» improved the park's territory by painting benches and bins, and tidying up the lawns.
In total, Odessa plans to plant 350 thousand summer flowers this year. The floral compositions will traditionally include salvia, geranium, begonia, petunia, ageratum, tagetes, and chlorophytum.
The first summer flowers have already partially adorned the Exchange Square and the flowerbeds near the Primorsky District Administration, replacing the spring flowers. Overall, 12 thousand summer flowers (petunias, begonias, and geraniums) will be planted on Exchange Square, while the pattern «Lyre» on the Theater Square will consist of 10 thousand begonias.
According to the municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest», summer flowers will be planted in all neighborhoods of the city, replacing the spring flowers that are already fading.
