Last night in the Primorsky district of Odesa, on Troitska Street, a fire broke out on the balcony and in an apartment on the second floor of a three-story residential building.
The fire was promptly extinguished by emergency services.
During the rescue operation, the apartment owner (born in 1992) was saved after injuring himself while attempting to escape. Firefighters provided assistance until medical personnel arrived.
The likely cause of the fire was «carelessness while smoking».
A total of 8 units of equipment and 31 firefighters were involved in the firefighting efforts.
