A man stabbed his acquaintance twice, hitting him in the abdomen and chest. He faces up to eight years in prison for his actions.

This information comes from the police.

The incident occurred last week in the evening on 7th Peresypska Street in Odessa, where the two men met by chance. A drunken 42-year-old local resident confronted his 27-year-old acquaintance, accusing him of not paying for a power bank he had purchased. During the ensuing conflict, the older man stabbed the younger one in the abdomen and chest before fleeing the scene.

Passersby called an ambulance for the victim. Doctors hospitalized the injured man and reported the incident to the police. He is currently in the hospital with serious stab wounds to the abdominal wall and chest, penetrating into the pleural cavity.

The victim was in critical condition and could not identify his attacker. However, the police quickly located the suspect using a service dog that picked up the trail and led them to the perpetrator.
