Summer has arrived in Odesa, and many entrepreneurs are preparing to enhance the beach areas for the season.
The tenant of 1,250 sq.m of the southern part of the beach "Arcadia" has developed a renovation project for the waterfront and beach area, and has approached the city council for approval.
The northern part of the "Arcadia" beach is managed by the municipal enterprise "Odesa Coast".
The renovation project includes:
- creating a pedestrian zone;
- installing an elevator for people with disabilities;
- setting up bins, benches, and lighting;
- landscaping the area with decorative planters.
Beach improvements include:
- creating a summer terrace with a canopy;
- repairing the stairs leading to the beach;
- restoring the covering of the retaining wall;
- building a canopy for people with limited mobility;
- installing showers and changing rooms, a lifeguard tower.
All project decisions have been approved by the relevant departments of the city council.
The renovation of the waterfront and beach will be carried out according to the rules and regulations for the city of Odesa and other legislative acts.
All works will be fully funded by the tenant without using budget funds.
