In Odessa, specialists from the municipal enterprise «Service Center» have completed upgrades on several fountains, which play an important role in the urban landscape.
As part of the maintenance on fountains located in Theater and Train Station squares, a series of scheduled tasks were performed, including cleaning nozzles, checking the filtration system, and adjusting the pump equipment.
Additionally, the workers regularly clean the fountain basins, remove debris from the water, maintain filters, and monitor water levels.
Furthermore, the fountain «Corner of Old Odessa» located on Gogol Street was renovated. Key tasks included repairing the basin, repainting, fixing decorative element chips, and servicing the equipment.
The Odessa City Council reminds citizens of the importance of taking care of municipal property. Swimming in fountains, washing pets in them, or throwing trash is strictly prohibited. Due to vandalism, fountains may be closed for repairs. Please follow safety rules and avoid contact with the water, as it is treated with chemicals to prevent algae growth.
