Odessa is actively restoring housing damaged by attacks: Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue. Photo

The stabilization and conservation works at the building on Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue have been completed.

Following a hostile drone strike on the night of May 1, necessary restoration works have been undertaken. Residents of the second entrance will be able to return to their apartments starting Monday, as reported by First Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Filatov. Previously, residents of the first entrance had already returned.

Unfortunately, the elevator in the second entrance is still out of service due to damage to the top structure of the elevator shaft.

Currently, project documentation for the major repairs of the building is being developed. Funding for the repairs is planned to be included in the budget for the next year.

Odessa's Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov stated that four apartments on the upper floors have been declared destroyed. Three of them have already received a decision from the Executive Committee to issue housing certificates under the eRecovery program, while paperwork for the fourth is still in progress.

City BTI specialists and the Kyiv district administration are working with other residents whose housing was damaged, assisting with the digitization of technical documentation and the submission of applications for financial aid under the local program 'Unbreakable Odessa' and the state eRecovery program.
