Odessa recently hosted an inspection focused on the accessibility of bus stations for individuals with disabilities.
As part of the monitoring of urban infrastructure regarding convenience for mobility-impaired groups, four major bus stations were inspected:
- Bus Station «Starosinna»;
- Bus Station «AV Pryvoz»;
- Bus Station «Pryvokzalna»;
- Central Bus Station.
During the inspection, several issues were identified that hinder access for people with disabilities and other mobility-impaired citizens.
All noted concerns were documented for further discussions with the management of the bus stations to find solutions to these barriers.
The Council for Accessibility continues its systematic efforts to create a comfortable and safe urban environment.
