A fire incident occurred in a nine-story building in Odesa. Firefighters managed to extinguish the flames, but the owner of the apartment where the fire started sustained injuries. This was reported by the emergency service press office.
The event took place in the Peresyp district on Academician Zabolotny Street, where household belongings in the apartment on the top floor were ablaze. The firefighters quickly responded and took all necessary measures to extinguish the fire.
“Unfortunately, the apartment owner, born in 2003, suffered burns to his face and hands and was hospitalized in moderate condition. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are still being determined. A total of 4 units of equipment and 12 firefighters were involved in the operation,” the official statement said.
