The city of Odesa has approved a new action plan aimed at developing an inclusive environment by the year 2026. The execution of these measures is overseen by the Accessibility Council under the Odesa mayor.
Experts from the municipal enterprise "City Roads" are working on installing ramps at pedestrian crossings throughout Odesa.
Since the beginning of 2025, a total of 71 ramps have been installed (Primorsky district - 51, Khadzhybei district - 9, Kyiv district - 4, Peresyp district - 7).
As part of the accessibility program, 29 ramps have been equipped since May 1, 2025 (Primorsky district - 22, Khadzhybei district - 3, Kyiv district - 2, Peresyp district - 2).
Additionally, tactile paving has been installed on 16 ramps as part of the accessibility initiative (Primorsky district - 11, Khadzhybei district - 3, Kyiv district - 2).
