In November, a series of events took place in Odesa aimed at promoting the mental well-being of participants in the educational process, as part of the nationwide initiative “How are you?”.

Among the activities conducted were: interactive communication hours featuring training elements on topics like “Preserving Mental Health. The World of Emotions – Our Resource”, “Mental Health – The Key to a Happy Life”; class hours “How are you?”, “Emotions and Their Impact”, “Everything is in Our Hands”, “Rules of Friendship”; playful activities “The World of Emotions”, “First Aid Kit”; round tables “Maintaining and Restoring Mental Health. Help and Self-Help”, and exercises “Mood Diary” and “Support Circle”.

Conversations were also held with students who had relocated from temporarily occupied territories, discussing “My Mental Health”, and conducting physical activity lessons and creative collective exercises within the framework of the “How are you?” program.

Parents and educators participated in “Safe Space” training sessions, during which discussions revolved around the emotional well-being of children at the beginning of the school year. Individual consultations and informational materials regarding children’s mental health support and their adaptation to educational environments were also provided.

To ensure access to valuable information on mental health, educational institutions published materials from the “How are you?” program, QR codes with useful links, and recommendations for parents and teachers on their websites.
