In Odesa, work continues on the maintenance of monuments that are not part of the cultural heritage.
Employees of the Municipal Enterprise «Service Center» are responsible for cleaning, repairing, and restoring the appearance of monuments and their surrounding areas.
This week, specialists from the «Service Center» carried out a series of activities to renovate the Memorial to Law Enforcement Defenders located on Ukrainian Heroes Avenue.
As part of the ongoing repair, the workers secured the memorial plates and treated the joints.
Additionally, inscriptions honoring those who fell in defense of citizens' lives and in the fight against crime were updated. Moreover, specialists eliminated chips and stains from the memorial elements and restored the area surrounding the monument.
The enterprise manages a total of 45 monuments that are not classified as cultural heritage.
