On July 1, 2025, an inclusive beach was inaugurated at the 11th station of the Great Fountain in Odesa. This initiative represents a crucial advancement in fostering a barrier-free environment for veterans, individuals with disabilities, and other mobility-impaired groups.

The inclusive beach serves as a prime example of how spaces can be transformed to accommodate everyone. This was stated by the Presidential Advisor for Accessibility Issues, Tetiana Lomakina, following her visit to Odesa. She toured the municipal inclusive beach and praised the city's efforts in its development. Tetiana Lomakina emphasized that the construction process was closely monitored to ensure compliance with accessibility standards.

“Step by step, the coastline is becoming a barrier-free area. The beach is rarely empty, attracting both tourists and local residents,” said the Presidential Advisor on Accessibility.
