Today, the water fountain complex located on Izhak Rabin Street in Odesa has officially reopened following its extensive renovation.
This facility has been managed by the municipal enterprise «Service Center» since its inauguration in 2008. In early June 2025, the decision was made to halt operations for essential repairs.
The renovation work included the removal of plastic wall panels and the installation of new ceramic tiles on the walls. New entrance doors were fitted, and the polycarbonate roofing was upgraded.
Moreover, specialists replaced the communication pipes and improved the drainage system for rainwater. The old perimeter tiles were removed and replaced with new tiles, including tactile tiles.
The water dispensing area and ramp for individuals with limited mobility were completely renovated.
In the technical room of the water fountain complex, improvements were made, including new flooring.
Electrical installations and an updated ventilation system were also carried out.
Additionally, the workers from the «Service Center» enhanced the landscaping of the area adjacent to the water fountain.
