The Ukrainian company TENETA has launched a new device for countering drones — the disposable MITLA 1. Its primary purpose is to disable FPV drones and reconnaissance quadcopters by entangling their propellers with a specialized net.
Weighing 365 grams and featuring compact dimensions (200 mm in length and 40 mm in diameter), the MITLA 1 easily fits into military gear. To use it, simply pull the safety pin, aim, and press the trigger — the 3.5×3.5 meter net deploys automatically within 0.2 seconds of launch, obstructing the drone's movement.
MITLA 1 demonstrates stable operation under various temperature conditions, both in heat and cold. The maximum effective shooting range is up to 25 meters. The device has significant recoil due to the use of a 7.62 mm caliber pyrotechnic cartridge, so it is recommended to hold it with both hands.
MITLA 1 is positioned as an affordable solution for rapid response to aerial threats, particularly relevant in positional warfare scenarios.
