The Mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, met with the commander of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 28th separate mechanized brigade, Volodymyr Luzhetskyi, and his comrades.
This brigade has already received over 138 million hryvnias in support from Odesa. Currently, the soldiers are defending Ukraine in a very challenging Donetsk direction. The city has received a new request for assistance from the fighters, which will be promptly addressed.
This year, the Odesa budget allocated 206 million 093 thousand hryvnias for aid to the Defense Forces, including 10 million for the 28th brigade. Last year, Odesa transferred nearly 1.42 billion hryvnias to support the military.
The city continues to work actively and support the Ukrainian defenders.
