The emergency situation on one of the water pipelines in Odesa turned out to be more complex than expected. According to the press service of «Infoksvodokanal», specialists worked on-site throughout the night, and by morning they managed to stop the leak and temporarily restore water supply, though repair work continues.
«Currently, specialists are preparing the excavation and the pipeline for welding work, which will be extensive», the report states.
As a result, a temporary suspension of water supply and a reduction of pressure in the network has been extended for some residents of the Kyiv and Khadzhybey districts.
This includes Akademika Korolova Street, Heavenly Hundred Avenue, Hlodan Family Street, Levitan Street, Varna Street, Cosmonauts Street, Inglezi Street, Heroes of Krut Street, and Lustdorf Road. According to preliminary data, the repairs are expected to be completed by 10:00 PM.
