This was reported by the police.
The incident took place in June of last year. Investigators found that a 39-year-old man had an argument with a 30-year-old acquaintance at his home in a village of the Tairova community after a shared celebration. During the conflict, the guest grabbed a knife and stabbed the host in the back.
Realizing what he had done, the assailant called the police and an ambulance. Upon arrival, medical personnel pronounced the victim dead. According to the forensic examination, the cause of death was acute blood loss due to a stab wound to the chest.
The investigators detained the offender in accordance with procedural law. Following their request, the court imposed a remand in custody.
During the pre-trial investigation, overseen by the Chornomorsk District Prosecutor's Office, police collected sufficient evidence of the detainee's unlawful actions and charged him with murder, specifically the intentional unlawful causing of death to another person.

After reviewing the collected materials and considering the defendant's sincere remorse, the court found him guilty and sentenced him to eight years of imprisonment.
