A new initiative has been launched in Odesa - a monthly remembrance of the fallen residents and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for freedom.
This initiative reflects deep respect and gratitude towards the military who gave their lives for Ukraine's independence.
The ceremony, titled «Bell of Remembrance», involves reciting the names of the fallen heroes and holding a prayer for their souls.
On the last day of February, this ceremony united residents, civic organizations, military personnel, veterans, and officials in prayer and collective memory of the heroes who lost their lives during the month.
Each toll of the bell symbolizes our unwavering memory and gratitude.
We remember. We honor. We are grateful.
