Authorities in Odessa are investigating the electrocution of two teenage boys. One of them has died, while the other sustained serious injuries. Rescue teams were also on the scene to assist the affected individual.
According to police reports, the incident occurred yesterday evening, March 9, near a railway station on Balska Road, as reported by a passerby. Preliminary findings suggest that the boys climbed onto a stationary train, where they were electrocuted. A 16-year-old teenager suffered fatal injuries, while the 13-year-old was rescued from the roof and handed over to medical personnel.
"Rescuers used a ladder and rope to bring down the injured boy, who was then hospitalized in critical condition. The circumstances of the incident are under investigation," the emergency services reported.
