Law enforcement officials have apprehended a 39-year-old resident of Izmail who was trying to sell explosive devices. He was caught during the sale of two F-1 grenades for 5,000 hryvnias. This was reported by the police.

Investigators received information that the man was looking for a buyer for the munitions. During the documentation of the crime, police recorded the transfer of grenades near the train station. The arrested individual had the munitions and fuses seized, which were sent for examination, along with the money received from the sale.

The suspect explained that the grenades came to him after the death of a relative, and he later decided to sell them. He has been charged under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal handling of explosive devices), which carries a penalty of up to seven years in prison. The court has selected a preventive measure of detention.
