In Odesa, the process of inspecting recreational areas near water is underway, following a joint directive from the Odesa regional military administration and military units.
The opening of beaches during wartime is only permitted if all safety measures are followed and the appropriate authorization is obtained from the relevant authorities.
Recently, it was found that 11 beaches were operating without official permits. During the latest inspection on August 19, three more beaches in the Kyiv district were identified as non-compliant.
These include: the beach "Nadia" between the collector and traverse N 17, the beach "Chaika" between traverses N 6-A and N 6-B, and the beach at the 15th station of the Great Fountain.
Municipal services have compiled reports on violations and issued orders to lessees to promptly rectify the issues. All documents will be forwarded to military administrations for further action.
City officials emphasize that operating beaches without permits is a serious legal violation that poses a risk to the safety of visitors.
Inspections will continue to address not only safety requirements but also ensure access to the water.
Additionally, inspections are being conducted to evaluate accessibility for people with disabilities.
