On the evening of April 21, 2025, the city of Odessa faced a devastating drone strike that targeted a densely populated area. Fires broke out as a result.

The attack caused damage to residential buildings, public infrastructure, and vehicles. Additionally, over 90 windows were shattered in three schools, two of which are operating remotely today.

Information regarding casualties is still being clarified.

The Mayor of Odessa, along with emergency and municipal services, arrived at the scene.

In the morning, an operational headquarters will be established by the district administration to provide consultations on how to apply for material assistance to restore windows and doors, as well as to receive compensation from the state budget under the eRecovery program.

Furthermore, reliable partners such as NGOs and charitable organizations will assist the people by providing kits for temporary window sealing.
