The municipal enterprise «Miskzelentrest» is continuing its efforts to enhance the green spaces of Odessa. In April, specialists planted 327 saplings of various tree species.
These are large-sized trees, aged 8-10 years, including white acacia, sycamore maple, common ash, Japanese sophora, eastern plane tree, catalpa bignonioides, and heart-leaved linden. They were cultivated in-house for planting in the urban environment and are planted with a closed root system to improve their survival rate.
Since the beginning of the year, about 1500 young trees and over 7200 shrubs have been planted throughout Odessa as part of various initiatives, clean-up days, and greening efforts.
The greening activities in Odessa are ongoing, contributing to a greener city.
