As part of the Italian Culture Days in Odessa, an exhibition titled «Italy through the Eyes of Ukrainian Artists» is held in the city council hall, showcasing the creativity of students and faculty from the Southern Ukrainian National Pedagogical University named after K. D. Ushinsky.
The exhibition features 25 artistic pieces created in various techniques: oil painting, watercolor, and graphics. It represents a vibrant creative dialogue between Ukraine and Italy.
Attendees shared their personal experiences of encountering Italy, which inspired their artistic expressions. The Ambassador of Odessa to the Italian Republic, Attilio Malliani, welcomed the participants and thanked the students and faculty for their interest in Italian culture, praising the organization of the exhibition.
«On June 2, Italians celebrated the Day of the Proclamation of the Republic. This anniversary is dedicated to the Week of Italian Culture in Odessa, culminating in the festival on Saturday. Our temperaments are similar, and I am confident that everyone will find inspiration there,» stated the Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov.
The events for the Week of Italian Culture are organized with the support of structural units of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and Marketing.
