In the educational institutions of communal ownership in Odesa, traditional festive events for children and the charity campaign #WarmWave were held on the occasion of St. Nicholas Day and the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

As part of the campaign, representatives of the friendly educational community of the city bake treats, fill first aid kits with medical supplies, collect necessary items and food products, donate money, and weave camouflage nets.

Children create protective talismans, write letters of support, and draw pictures to send to the Armed Forces of Ukraine soldiers who defend our borders every day.

Educational institutions organize events dedicated to the heroic history of the Ukrainian people, the struggle of its defenders for statehood in Ukraine, as well as exhibitions of children's drawings and creative works titled “We Are Proud of the Defenders of Ukraine.”

Additionally, the residence of St. Nicholas has opened, where visitors can immerse themselves in a winter fairy tale and write letters to the magical figure.

Representatives of the Parliament of High School Students in Odesa, along with children of fallen heroes, decorated patriotic Christmas trees on the Alley of Heroes with handmade ornaments.

With hope for victory and faith in a peaceful future, the educators of Odesa are undertaking significant initiatives aimed at national-patriotic education, promoting the military exploits of Ukrainians, and honoring the courage and heroism of Ukraine's defenders.
