On December 19, the Odesa Philharmonic hosted an anniversary concert for the "Zabava" exemplary choir from Art School No. 3 of Odesa, marking 25 years of their artistic success.
The Director of the Department of Culture, International Cooperation, and European Integration, Ivan Liptuga, congratulated the school’s team and presented awards.
«It is vital for young musicians to step onto the big stage from childhood, growing and improving alongside masters in their field. Recently, a cultural project called "Odesa. U-NEXT" took place at the Opera House, uniting art schools in Odesa and showcasing the synergy of primary, secondary, and higher music education. This is how stars of Odesa are made in a professional environment,» said Ivan Liptuga.
During the concert, the "Zabava" choir performed alongside the Chamber Orchestra of the Odesa Regional Philharmonic named after D. Oistrakh, conducted by Volodymyr Dykyi.
Young artists displayed virtuosic mastery under the direction of Svitlana Smyrnova. The concert also featured well-known musicians and singers who have collaborated with the choir for many years.
The children's choir "Zabava" has been confirmed as "Exemplary".
