Teens are constantly influenced by social media, often unaware that much of the content is manipulation or deception.

In Ukraine, a free online course on info hygiene has been launched to help children safeguard themselves on the internet.

The training is designed as a computer game with vivid characters, quests, and rewards. The course can be accessed via computers, tablets, or smartphones. After completing it, users can return to revisit lessons or redo tasks at any time.

The course was created by Oksana Moroz, a researcher in information fields and author of the book 'How Not to Become a Vegetable', along with Kateryna Holtzberg, a child psychologist and president of the Professional Association of Child Analytical Psychologists.

The course is available online on the interactive platform Unicorn School. You can register at: https://unicorn.itstep.org/infohygiene-training-course

Share information about the course with friends and family

or in parenting groups — together we can make

the information space safer for our children.
