From June 30 to July 6, the team from Odessa Lyceum No. 9 participated in an international chess festival for students in Iasi (Romania).
The tournament featured 84 teams from various parts of the world.
The Odessa team achieved an impressive result, finishing 10th out of 37 teams in the under-12 category. Kateryna Stanchak secured 2nd place among girls, winning 7 out of 8 matches.
The chess team gained valuable experience and wonderful memories from the trip.
