A modern mammography unit has been installed at the advisory and diagnostic center of City Clinical Hospital No. 1 in Odesa, located at: 38 Bolgarska Street.
The state-of-the-art Giotto Class 3D-C mammograph, featuring second-generation tomosynthesis, enables the creation of a three-dimensional map of breast tissue with slices as thin as 1 mm. This capability allows physicians to detect even the smallest changes at the earliest stages, significantly improving prevention and treatment outcomes.
Key advantages of the Giotto Class 3D-C mammography include:
- High diagnostic accuracy – tumors can be identified before any symptoms appear.
- Minimal radiation exposure.
- Excellent image quality – a wide scanning angle, high sharpness, improved contrast, and reduced noise ensure clear and informative images.
- Comfort and speed during examinations.
Examinations are provided free of charge with an electronic referral from a family doctor or a specialist such as a mammologist, obstetrician-gynecologist, or oncologist.
The mammography room No. 718 operates on the 7th floor of the City Clinical Hospital No. 1 at 38 Bolgarska Street, from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Prior appointments can be made by calling the hospital's contact center at (0800) 33 23 01.

The National Health Service of Ukraine recommends women over 45 years old to undergo screening mammography every two years for the early detection of precancerous conditions and treatable cancers.
Women at risk should have mammograms annually – this includes those with close relatives who have had breast cancer or those suspected of having tumors found during manual examination or ultrasound.
