A remarkable multi-organ transplant was carried out at the Odesa Regional Clinical Hospital, saving the lives of four patients from various cities in Ukraine. This was reported by the hospital's press service.
Medical specialists from the Odesa Regional Clinical Hospital collaborated with teams from the Heart Institute of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the National Scientific Center for Surgery and Transplantology named after O.O. Shalimov, and the 1st Territorial Medical Association of Lviv to perform the transplants.
The operation saved the life of a 60-year-old man and three women aged 41, 46, and 59.
