With the support of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, the KNP "Odesa Regional Clinical Hospital" has received crucial humanitarian aid from American philanthropist and former senator John Kachelman through the charity organization "International Horizons," led by Alireza Pahlavanzade.
As part of this initiative, the medical facility has been provided with medical tools and rehabilitation equipment that will assist many patients. This aid will enhance the conditions for patients and promote more effective rehabilitation.
According to doctors, the humanitarian assistance will ease the lives of hospital patients, especially those in rehabilitation or with limited mobility.
In total, the following items were received by the institution:
- wheelchairs to help people with disabilities move;
- standard and underarm crutches for patient support;
- walkers that allow recovering patients to move safely and comfortably;
- medical clothing for doctors and nurses necessary for maintaining sterility;
- adult diapers, which are especially important for patients with limited mobility;
- gloves used for hygiene during medical services.
These supplies are essential for treatment and rehabilitation, creating comfort for medical staff and helping to ensure a proper level of medical services.
The humanitarian aid from "International Horizons" will not only improve treatment conditions and enhance patient service quality but will also allow the hospital to improve its material and technical base. Collaboration between medical institutions and charitable organizations is crucial in today’s challenges, especially concerning the lack of resources and materials.
We sincerely thank the benefactors for their support. We hope for continued cooperation to support medical facilities in the Odesa region.
