The President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, has declared a new “ceasefire” during the celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
This “ceasefire” will be in effect from 00:00 on May 8 until 00:00 on May 11, as reported by the Russian state news agency TASS.
Putin stated that the Ukrainian side “should also follow this example”.
He added that “if the ceasefire is violated by the Ukrainian side, the Russian military will respond appropriately and effectively”.
