From October 9 to 12, the city of Lviv hosted the Muay Thai tournament known as the «Artan Cup», organized under the auspices of the International Federation of Muay Thai (IFMA).
This event was dedicated to the memory of the fallen soldiers of the GUR MO Ukraine «Artan», athletes who took up arms in defense of their homeland, and all the defenders of Ukraine currently fighting for the nation.
During this memorial tournament, boxers competed for the Cup of Ukraine. The winners earned the right to represent Ukraine at the European Championship.
Odesa athletes performed exceptionally well. Dmytro Zanin won a silver medal in the under-60 kg category, while Nikita Kuts (under-57 kg), Mykhailo Serdiuk (under-60 kg), and Bohdan Studnev (under-63 kg) claimed the Cup of Ukraine. The athletes were coached by trainers Volodymyr Pishenin, Andriy Vakharash, and Kostyantyn Trishin.
