On November 27, 2025, Tatiana Kirienko, the Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family, and Unity of Ukraine visited Odesa.

The purpose of her visit was to familiarize herself with the operations of local social services, particularly those assisting internally displaced persons (IDPs) and citizens affected by the armed conflict.

During her stay in the city, Tatiana Kirienko visited:

  • The Social and Psychological Assistance Center for IDPs and individuals affected by armed conflict at the Odesa City Council;
  • The front office of the Integrated Social Services Center located at 2D Kosivska Street;
  • The Assistance Center for Rescued Persons;
  • The “One-Stop Veteran Window” based at the Administrative Service Center;
  • Service Center No. 11 of the Main Office of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in the Odesa region.

During her visit, the focus was on coordinating actions and uniting the ministry's efforts with local authorities and partners to avoid duplicating aid programs and ensure effective and comprehensive support for vulnerable populations.

Tatiana Kirienko emphasized the importance of ensuring inclusion and accessibility of social services at all levels, which is a priority during the state of war and post-war recovery.

The meeting also included Dmitry Radulov, Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional State (Military) Administration.

Odesa continues to be a city where people receive not only assistance but also warmth, support, and hope for the future.
