From November 17 to 19, 2025, the Ukrainian Judo Championship for junior cadets under 17 years old took place in Uzhhorod.
More than 500 athletes born between 2009 and 2011 participated from 21 regions of Ukraine.
The team from Odesa included students from the Comprehensive Children's and Youth Sports School No. 15 in Odesa.
In the 73 kg weight category, the silver medal was won by Volodymyr Sorvachov, while the bronze medalist in the 66 kg category was Yurii Pinchuk.
The athletes were coached by Hennadii Yaremenko.
In the judo sections of municipal youth sports schools in Odesa, there are 143 young athletes involved.
