The municipal institution «Specialized Installation and Operational Unit» has summarized its work conducted this summer along the city's coast.
Thanks to the establishment of a two-way bicycle path from the 11th to the 16th station of the Great Fountain, cyclists can easily travel from the city center to the 16th station.
«The bicycle path ensures safe movement within the city. We see that its popularity is increasing, and by the mayor's order, we will continue to expand cycling routes throughout the city», - said Odesa's Deputy Mayor Pavlo Vugelman.
The president of the cycling club «Arcadia» also noted the positive changes.
«This bicycle path has become the best in the city. Since its opening, the number of cyclists has significantly increased. People are actively responding to the new markings, which is encouraging as we witness the development of cycling sports in Odesa», - stated Victoria Bondarenko.
The city's plans include further enhancements of cycling infrastructure, including connecting residential areas through new cycling routes.
