From October 24 to 27, 2024, Chisinau hosted the international competition in acrobatic sports - the open championship of Moldova.
During the three-day event, 165 athletes from Chisinau, Tiraspol, Bender, Sucleia, Arziz, Odessa, and Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi amazed the audience with the grace and complexity of this spectacular sport.
Representing Odessa at the championship were the talented students of the Comprehensive Children and Youth Sports School No. 3: Sofia Puzdrach, Alina Fesik, and Anna Lutsker, who took first place in their category under the candidate for master of sports program.
The athletes were coached by instructors Oksana Kopecka and Tamara Zahrebelyna.
In Odessa, 212 young athletes are engaged in acrobatic sports at youth sports schools.
